Price’s Wines Block 1 Malbec is a velvety smooth wine, rich, fruity, and deserving exclusivity in the bottle. As a variety, Malbec is extremely challenging to grow but well worth the perseverance. This wine is fragrant, lifted by dark fruit notes. The palate is filled with lush berry flavours and balanced with a savoury spiced note.
Color: Deep purple, crimson red.
Nose: An instant hit of blueberries, cloves, raisins, and toasted almonds, indicating full-bodied lushness.
Palate: An earthy, berry mouth feel with medium-full tannins. Blissful blue fruit folds over a fine oak influence. It has a great structure with marvellous balance.
Pair with: Roasted beef rump with beetroot and Brussels sprouts.
Cellaring: The Price’s Wines Block 1 Malbec is drinking well now but will cellar for at least another decade.
